How to book a jumping castle?

To book a jumping castle you can simply click the “Book Now” icon on the top of the page.

What happens on the party day?

On the day of your jumping castle hire, we will attend to your home or party site and completely install the jumping castle. This includes a complete safety check. We will also take you through the operations of the castle and advise you in how to operate and supervise your jumping castle party.

Deposits and payment?

A $40 deposit is required at time of booking. Outstanding amounts can be paid by card, direct debit(paid 7 days in advance) or cash on the day.

How much space will I require?

Our jumping castles require a minimum of 5 metres by 5 metres. It should be free of any overhead obstructions or tree branches. Please consider access to the proposed site e.g. steps, doorways, gates and slopes.

How long does it take to set up the jumping castle?

The jumping castle will be set up and dismantled by a Castles in the Clouds staff member. It takes around 15-20 mins to set up the jumping castle depending on the type of access. It takes around 30 mins to dismantle the jumping castle.

Does the jumping castle have to be on grass?

Yes, as the jumping castle is required to be tethered to the ground by Australian Standards. Please Ring if you have a queries in regards to this.

Can we move the castle?

No. Once the castle has been set up it cannot be moved due to safety reasons and insurance requirements. Please do not attempt to move castle after the operator has placed it in the designated area.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes. We recommend a maximum of EIGHT children 3-8 years be permitted on the castle at any one time and a maximum of SIX children aged 9-12 years. Total maximum weight at any one time should not exceed 360kg. No one person over 100kg is permitted on the castle. Adults are not permitted.

What do we do if it rains?

All of our castles have rain covers which also provide shade on sunny days. We will give you the option to cancel your booking the day before if it is forecast to rain. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if we deem the weather conditions to be unsafe. This may include high winds or heavy rain.

Can I have a jumping castle indoors?

Yes, you can have a jumping castle indoors, please check with us first before booking.

Does someone need to supervise the operation of the jumping castle?

Yes, a responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise the jumping castle at all times. There will be training given in the operating instructions for the jumping castle on the day of the hire.

What power is required for the jumping castle?

A power point should be available within 20 metres of the jumping castle.

Can I have a jumping castle on a slope?

Slopes can be ok, but please check with us first as safety will always be our highest priority.

Jumping castle safety

All equipment is manufactured, operated and maintained in accordance with the Australian Standard which is the most comprehensive standard in the world.

Do you have insurance?

We carry $10,000,000 in Public Liability Insurance. Please let us know if you require a copy of our certificate of currency.

Can I hire a jumping castle on a weekday?

No, sorry at this stage we will not be providing weekday hire due to work commitments.
